Inside Crocs: Blood Drive

Posted by: crocspostings on: November 17, 2009

Crocs recently held a blood drive at our Niwot campus to benefit the Bonfils Blood Center. According to Bonfils, only 4 percent of Coloradoans generously donate blood, and that’s just not enough! We filled all 25 timeslots that were available and 11 of those people were 1st time donors. Bonfils Blood Center collected 23 units which equals out to save 69 patient lives!

We’re proud of our Crocs employees for doing something as selfless as donating blood, and we hope the larger Crocs community will follow our lead! Here are some pictures of the blood drive (sans actual blood!):

Of course everyone here at Crocs loves our shoes, but we love to hear from all of our fans too. Recently A Girl Must Shop posted a review of the Crocs Malindi, which the author says are both comfortable enough to dance in and don’t cause blisters!

If you’ve posted a review, let us know so we can share it with all of our fans!  Also check out the  Crocs Affiliate Program. We’d love to have you join the Crocs team!

Crocs at the White House

Posted by: crocspostings on: November 12, 2009

We already know that First Lady Michelle Obama is a Crocs fan, but who else wore Crocs on a recent visit to the White House?

That would be celebrity chef Mario Batali! Mario, who is never spotted without his signature orange Bistros, visited the White House along with Bobby Flay, Alton Brown and Emeril Lagasse to film the opening episode of Iron Chef America’s new season. To see photos and learn more about the First Lady’s efforts to reduce childhood obesity, read the New York Times article.

Veterans Day

Posted by: crocspostings on: November 11, 2009

This Veterans Day, Crocs would like to express appreciation to all Veterans, active duty military and their spouses. Without these selfless men and women who have dedicated themselves to keeping our nation liberated and great, the freedoms Americans live by would not be possible.

Crocs has donated thousands of shoes to the American Troops for their own use, as well as to donate to local children in war-plagued countries. Below are some photos of Crocs efforts to help the American Military and children in Afghanistan and Iraq:

Crocs at Work

Posted by: crocspostings on: November 10, 2009

When people find out I work at Crocs, the first question they as me is “Do you have to wear Crocs shoes to work?” While we are not required to wear Crocs in the office, many of our newest styles can be spotted on feet all over the campus. After all, with shoes this comfortable, who would want to wear anything else?

Here’s a photo of my shoe of choice today, the Crocband:

Also spotted around the office, a pair of McCall Winter shoes:

And a popular among the Crocs men, the Santa Cruz Corduroy:
