I so much agree with you Laurie. Trials for people who demand comfort (for reasons body structure related, or otherwise) is a really important aspect for brand success.

I hunted the tikali style I needed in Pune & Mumbai. But the response from the store teams was nothing to talk of here. They just didn't care what CROCS meant to the people who wear them. And I assume the Crocs they were wearing were for free.

I finally found Tikali in Goa. And holla! The colour & size I so much needed.

Crocs just needs to get its act right in model & size availability. And they'll have won half the battle. Hope you're listening Crocs! I wish you much success.
And thanks for the Tikali's.

I am another person who would be crippled today if I didn't have CROCS. The form of the footbed supports my high arch, the cushy sole cushions my back.

However, when you are a person with such problems, the only way to buy shoes is to try them on. Like many people, I have learned that having a problem foot means that even slight style variations can make a shoe useless to wear, and that money is thrown away.

That's the problem with CROCS, one that has to be solved to further the brand. I live in metropolitan Southern California, yet the handful of retailers that sell CROCS might sell one or two styles, and almost always the clogs or furry clogs, and maybe one sandal. Sure, once I know a particular style works for my foot, I tend to buy more colors in that style. Those, I am not afraid to order online.

So, having the product available in brick and mortar, or at least in kiosk, is very important for the survivability of CROCS. Two hours away is a CROCS kiosk in a mall, and that is where I discovered the alternative styles that work for me. The kiosks don't have to stock too much color variation, just style and size. That way, customers can try them on, and then have the color delivered to the house.

I am also one who doesn't care for the clog design. The Adara and Malindi are more attractive for a woman of a long and wide foot. I think this advice to CROCS will help their brand stay around a long time.

I love the original Adara, its casual but still chic, is it a discontinued style?, I've been trying to get hold of some in Hong Kong and Australia. Crocband are super cute, hope there will be a sandel version next summer!. Thanks!

Mr. Duerden, could you please consider making closed heel design for your RX line. some employers don't allow open heel at work.

Well I finally found a store that was nice enough to give me my money back for my Saffrons even though they were purchased on-line. If the crocs website had half the customer service that the stores have I would order from them again but they don't. My first email was sent weeks ago and it said they are responded to in the order they are received. That tells me volumes about their complaint department because I have heard nothing. Luckily I found a different brand of uniform shoes to go with. Thanks.
