Crocs and Coffee with the Mrs.

Posted by: GeorgeGSmithjr on: June 29, 2009

I love to read blogs for their stories. You don’t have to be an award winning author, a famous journalist, or have loads of money – all you need is the desire to share your story. The Crocs™ Community is full of people that have stories to tell. I love these stories because I get to see how our amazing products are used in so many people’s lives. Here is Amy Clary – author of Coffee with the Mrs. – sharing her story. Be sure to check out her blog – she wants to hear your Crocs™ stories too!

I’m a mom who blogs over at Coffee with the Mrs. I’m a proud wife and a mom to a toddler boy. Also, I am expecting our second child early November. I’m just one mom of many who can appreciate quality, comfort, and affordability when shopping for shoes.

I have found all three of these things in Crocs.

So, what’s my Crocs story? Where have my Crocs taken me?

There are so many places I’ve taken my Crocs; from beaches to campgrounds and more. My most memorable journey with Crocs to date was during our family vacation last summer.

It was the first time we had gone as a family of 3 for vacation. We decided to stay in London, Ontario Canada and do as many family-friendly things as possible.
One of our stops was to a park called “Story Book Village”. In this park, there were animals to see, playgrounds to explore, puppet shows, and a big splash pad for the children to run around on. Luckily, we chose to go there on a day that ended up being very hot. In fact, the majority of our time was spent on the splash pad just to keep our little guy cool and happy.

As you can see, we accomplished the “happy” part quite successfully. It was fun to see him enjoying the water and running from sprinkler to sprinkler. From time to time, “the hubster” would jump in and play with him but we were able to watch him play for the most part.

And then there’s me. I was sitting in a chair on the sidelines watching it all happen. All I could do was laugh and laugh while watching Alex thoroughly enjoy himself. That’s when I took this picture.

When I took this picture, I made a promise to myself to take others like it whenever a family event had me laughing so hard I could barely keep my composure. There was one other time last summer that I took a similar picture and I can’t wait for many more memorable opportunities.

Yes, my Crocs have been with me for many a good time and they will be with me for many more.

How about you? What’s your Crocs story?

Thank you so much for sharing your story Amy!  Check out her blog and be sure to share your story with her!

I guess my story would be more so on the lines of where my crocks would of taken me if I had a pair. I’m a 49yr old grandmother of only one little precious 5 year old grandson (the light of my life) and last week I took the only trip I’m sure I ever will be able to Virginia beach with him and his other granny who is my best friend and he is her only grandson too. And we first went to beautiful bush gardens which was a joy to see and share with him and we did alot of walking and I wore flip flops which was a mistake because your feet very soon tire out. And crocks would of given me a longer boost for all that walking! But he loves getting his picture taken with Ernie & loved that beautiful Virginia beach shorline so it was all worth it and a once in a lifetime blessing we will cherrish forever! himhttp://blog.crocs.com/2009/06/29/crocs-and-coffee-with-the-mrs/

How I feel In Love With a Croc

I live in Florida so most of my days are spent barefoot or if needed flip flops.
One day sitting on the curb at universal rubbing my sore blistered feet a nice woman sat beside me and saw my pain and then told me about her experience as a croc owner after the pain I was now living, her warning Never Buy A Fake Croc their not the same, needless to say ebay I went looking for a croc steal, low and behold a croc I got, the best thing for my feet now I love them even in the heat or the summer rain or just for walking with no pain. I wish I had all the crocs for my closet pond but since that is not my luck just a pair of summer crocs would be the greatest fun.

Thank you from my feet to my heart
