A year after the catastrophic earthquake disaster in Sichuan, China – Crocs™ teamed together to provide donation to those there that are still in need. A team of 10 volunteers from the Crocs™ China operations brought some donated Crocs™ shoes to a school in the Sichuan area. Here is a bit of the story from Sophie Y. in China:
We arrived at the school at 3pm and the teachers left 1.5 hours at the end of the day for us to deliver the shoes and play games with the students. We were deeply touched to see all the smiling faces and the gratitude of the students despite the fact that all of them are studying and living in the temporary, iron-sided houses. They loved the Crocs™ shoes and the cute Jibbitz™ charm flowers and cartoon animals that we donated.
Wow – what an emotional event. It’s amazing what a few pairs of shoes can do to lift the spirit of those in trouble. It’s not the cure to every problem, but we believe it has the power to help. The spirit of giving is contagious and all of us here at Crocs™ feel lucky that we have the power to bring joy to the lives of people around the world. Thank you Sophie and the rest of the China team for sharing your story and doing what you can for the people in need on your side of the globe!

Just wanted to comment on my recent purchase of the kneeler. I love my “Hot Pink Kneeler”. One thing my momm always taught me was when scrubbing the floor the only way to get it really clean was to get on your hands and knees and scrub away. I used my Crocs kneeler today and my knees aren’t hurting for the first time in quit some time. Thanks Crocs. Ship
