Nothing impresses me more than the compassion of the human spirit in tough times. When there is a disaster, people come together and rise up and do something to try to help. When there are people down, there are usually others willing to extend a helping hand; to gather the strength to change our world. Here at Crocs, Inc. headquarters in Colorado, we know that collectively – we can make a difference.
For the past two weeks, we have been gathering food for Community Food Share, a local organization that provides food to those in need in Boulder and Broomfield Counties. In each of our buildings, we placed boxes and asked employees to place whatever they could spare. The turnout was amazing – we had 50lb bags of rice, tons of canned fruits and vegetables, cereals – just look at the pictures below to see what a little effort and a lot of love can accomplish.

I am extremely proud of what we did for Community Food Share. Giving back to the community is one reason I love working for Crocs, Inc. Another one of the things I love about my job is the fans. We have one of the most amazingly loyal fan bases in the footwear industry. So, I think we should combine the two! To all of the fans out there, I propose this challenge: take a moment and do something for your local community. It doesn’t matter what it is – just doing something small can make a world of difference. You will thank me for it and, in the end, the combination of all the little things we can do will make this world a better place!
